Murat Karakuş

Biography

Murat Karakuş received his B.Sc. in Mathematics from Suleyman Demirel University (2009), his M.Sc. in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Michigan-Flint (2013), and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Purdue School of Science (2018). He is currently an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Software Engineering at Ankara University. Dr. Karakuş has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for leading IEEE, ACM, and Elsevier venues. He has served on the organizing committees of major IEEE conferences (MeditCom, BalkanCom, BCCA, BlackSeaCom) and has led several TÜBİTAK-funded and industry-supported research projects.
